Michael P. Swords is board certified in osteopathic medicine and surgery, specializing in foot and ankle orthopedic conditions. He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1993. He graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University in 1998. He served his internship at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan. He completed his residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center and E. W. Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He completed advanced clinical experience in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
His professional associations include American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, Michigan Orthopaedic Society, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Scientific Trust, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Swords is married and resides in East Lansing.
