Meredith H. Fabing practices general orthopedics. Her areas of interest include sports medicine, arthroscopic and reconstructive knee, shoulder, elbow surgery, hip arthroscopy and care of the female athlete. She received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1996. She graduated from the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. After graduation she completed her internship and residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan. She also completed a Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in 2007.
Her professional associations include American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Michigan Orthopedic Society, and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Fabing has authored the following publication: Arthroscopic Anterior and Posterior Capsulolabral Advancement for Higher-Risk Athletes. She has the following works in progress: Results of Total Shoulder Arthroplasty with an Uncemented Monoblock Bone-In Growth Porous Tantalum Glenoid Component and Locked Plating for Proximal Humerus Fractures.
Dr. Fabing is married and resides in DeWitt.
